The title, the release date and the first teaser for the new era of "The Lord of the Rings“. The long-awaited new series called "The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power" arrives in the fall.

The series is considered to be the most expensive TV show of all time, and the filming has just ended. The action will take place in the Second Age of Middle-earth, before the events in the original novels and movies.

"Rings of Power unite all the main stories of Middle Ages' Second Age: the forging of the rings, the rise of the dark master Sauron, the epic Numenor story, and the story of elves and humans," said JD Payne and the show's creators.

"So far, the audience has only seen the story of one ring, but before it existed, there were many rings and we are excited to share the epic story about them," they added.

Amazon bought Tolkien TV's adaptation rights back in 2017 in a deal worth a staggering $ 250 million.
