(VIDEO) Russian media reports a large explosion in a warehouse with thermobaric rockets in Shebekino

In the city of Shebekino, Belgorod Region of the Russian Federation, ammunition for the TOS-1A Solntsepek heavy missile system exploded.

This was announced by the Russian "Telegram" channel Astra.

It is reported that three Russian soldiers died as a result of these explosions.

In the evening of Thursday, June 13, in the Russian city of Shebekino, which is located near the border with Ukraine, loud explosions rang out and a huge fire broke out.

The governor of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, made a statement about the explosion on the outskirts of Shebekino, who reported damage to 10 private households and one car.

He added that allegedly no one was injured in the explosion and the reasons for the incident have been determined.

The "Telegram" channel Astra today, referring to the emergency services of the Russian region, reported that the previous night in the suburb of Shebekino, ammunition for the heavy flamethrower system "TOS-1A Solntsepek" exploded.

For now, the reasons for the ammunition detonation are not known.

The Russians actively use the Solntsepek system for attacks on light armored vehicles, manpower, as well as for the destruction of fortifications.

The Ukrainian army has destroyed and captured enemy TOS-1A and their transport and cargo vehicles on several occasions.

Recently, the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched a missile attack on the command post of the Russian 6th combined army, which was located on the territory of the recreation center near the village of Shebekino.
