Goran Gerasimovski

The Mayor of the Municipality of Centar, Goran Gerasimovski in the Morning Briefing on Slobodna TV announced the visit of 10 assistants to students with special education during the summer holidays. So far, these assistants have only during the school year assisted students with special education in the performance of school work, the performance of duties and going and returning from school.

- In the summer we plan 10 of our assistants to visit 20 children over one day or three times a week for about 4 hours to facilitate and improve the living conditions of those parents who have children with special needs to be able to complete and its obligations. This is a novelty that we will start now and we will continuously implement it, said Gerasimovski.

In the morning briefing, Gerasimovski also spoke about current projects such as the call for the project "Center cares for adults" where the municipality provides physiotherapists, caregivers, psychologists and social workers for 90 families of adults over 60 years old residents of the Center. Gerasimovski called on all people who need such care to apply to the call for the municipality to help them in that area. In addition to the project for the elderly, the Municipality of Centar is implementing the project "Center cares for the youngest" where the municipality in a few months awarded 7 denars to 000 newborns.

Gerasimovski also announced the project that will be implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior and refers to the neighborhood police officers.

- We started the campaign together with the Ministry of Interior where we promoted this project and it will continue in the next few months. The goal is to get to know and bring the citizens closer to the police to report thefts and delinquent things, but we also additionally promoted those neighborhood police officers who the Ministry of Interior plans to return to the neighborhoods soon. Centar is one of the busiest municipalities and here the number of thefts and all other things is much higher than other municipalities. As a percentage, if we have 80 thefts, about 60 are unfortunately in the Municipality of Centar. "I hope that this project will contribute to reducing the number of thefts and delinquents," said Gerasimovski.
