For the benefits that the companies receive in the Technological Industrial Development Zones, we expect them to return with high salaries, contributions and taxes, said in an interview with "Free Press" the director of the zones Jovan Despotovski.

- We have a completely new quality in the field of foreign investment compared to all previous years. As the most visible indicator for this is the difference in net salary from 2016 and 2020 which is 40 percent, says Despotovski.

By the way, over 160 million euros of foreign investments have entered the country this year alone from nine investment projects, some of which are new, and some of which are already operating in the Macedonian Technological Industrial Development Zones (TIDZ). The total volume of payments that these investments will generate in the budget in the next ten years is over 120 million euros. This 2021, according to the analysis, is the best in the last four years, says for "Free Press" the director of TIDZ Jovan Despotovski.

According to the strategy of this Government, the TIDZs are open for Macedonian companies, with the same benefits that apply to foreign ones, but unfortunately for now there is very little interest in that.

He also announces the largest foreign investment in the history of attracting foreign investment, which will be announced in two to three weeks. It is a German giant in the field of pharmaceutical industry, and the investment will be over 100 million euros.
