VIDEO: Denver leads against Miami, Jokic "reigns" in the NBA finals
Denver led by Nikola Jokic who recorded a new "triple-double" performance in the first game of the grand final in NBA League overcame it Miami hit. The Nuggets were better than the "Hots" with a score of 104:93 in their debut appearance in the NBA Finals.
The Serbian Jokic was again the best basketball player of his team, achieving a new, ninth "triple-double" in the playoffs and becoming the first center in history to record 14 assists in one game of the finals.
The Denver center finished the game with 27 points and 10 rebounds, while Jamal Murray scored 26 points, Gordon added 16, and Porter added 14.
Only three basketball players in NBA history had 450+ points, 200+ rebounds and 150+ assists in one playoff, they are Larry Bird, LeBron James and Nikola Jokic.
In the Miami team, Adebayo scored 26 points, Vincent added 19, Highsmith 18, while Jimmy Butler scored 13 points. The next game will also be played in Denver on the night of June 4-5.
