The State Election Commission assures that it has the capacity to react quickly to election irregularities. "Wherever a violation of the right to vote is found, the elections will be annulled," SEC President Aleksandar Dashtevski told the Utrinski briefing.
- 320 people in the IT sector will take care of technical support, a foreign company has been hired to intervene in hacker attacks like last year, says Dashtevski.
He adds that the upcoming elections are a record in the candidate lists, 165 in number.
"The OSCE is coming from Lithuania and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and more than 1000 observers will be present at these elections," he said.
The SEC is starting at a strong pace right now, but the main thing is yet to come.
