In search of better earnings and living conditions, more and more Macedonian citizens are leaving the country, and the young people who remain have such thoughts.

The number of young people who have left the country is frightening, it is obvious that money is not the only reason for them to go to an EU member state and work there, they also want to be educated, to work in a more organized environment, and part of they see them as a chance to move and stay there to live.

About the state's strategy regarding the employment and emigration of young people, for "Utrinski Pechat" we spoke with Daniel Peshov from "Work and Travel".

- The world trend of emigration for economic reasons is not new in our society. However, it is a fact that our institutions often undertake counter-policies for the purpose of which they intensify the process of evicting citizens from year to year. In particular, our program foresees training within three months, and then the students return to Macedonia with already acquired experience and knowledge, which they later apply during their professional development - said Peshov.

According to him, the "Work and Travel" programs are intended for cultural and educational exchange of students who travel to the USA, Croatia and Germany.

- During the semester break, students have the opportunity to work abroad, especially in the automotive and logistics industry, in well-known reputable companies, which are world leaders in this sector. Although the starting salary in our country is 300 euros, employers can quickly recognize quality and often appreciate it. This means that young people can quickly progress in their jobs. This is the best chance for every full-time student to go to a country, work legally, cover the costs of the program and return with savings and a new experience, said Pesov.
