As far as I could see, the meeting of the Macedonian and Bulgarian delegations was on the sidelines of the media coverage in Bulgaria, because I think that the biggest preoccupation for Bulgaria as a NATO member at the moment is the escalation of the crisis in Ukraine. Bulgarian Prime Minister Petkov appeared for the first time, Bulgarian journalists literally attacked him over the issue. He explained that after the intergovernmental meeting with the Macedonian delegation, they will have a session of the Council of Ministers, where they will discuss NATO-Russia relations and how Bulgaria will participate in this escalating crisis, he told Morning briefing from Sofia, the journalist of Free Press, Marina Damceska.

- Prime Ministers Petkov and Kovacevski mentioned today that last night at their joint ministerial and prime ministerial dinner there were very optimistic tones and that even some of the ministers got up from the table and continued their talks and agreements in preparation for today's intergovernmental session. So there is great optimism, great mood to start resolving Macedonian-Bulgarian relations in a positive direction and in the interest of both countries, added Damceska.

- There will be a reference of the working groups of the two prime ministers and I think that the intensification of that cooperation is very crucial for resolving the issues. So there is optimism, there is positive energy and in such a constructive atmosphere I think that open issues will be resolved, especially those in the economy, infrastructure, transport connection between the two countries, so everything lags behind in the last 30 years, said Damceska.

This morning, Prime Minister Kovacevski mentioned that intensive work will be done on Corridor 8, including railway, passenger and telecommunication infrastructure on this road corridor, which is crucial for cooperation and exchange between the two countries.

- The Macedonian Prime Minister together with some of the ministers will go today for a meeting with the Bulgarian President Radev and the President of the Assembly Minchev. "I think that what the Bulgarians are looking for will be discussed here as a special point, ie the inclusion of the Bulgarian minority in the Macedonian Constitution, although realistically with this political parliamentary majority of Kovacevski's government, it is unlikely that such a thing would happen," said Damceska. .
