Dr. Aleksandar Mitov / Morning briefing
-Last night I followed an analysis that is quite optimistic on the topic omicron. What is hope? "From the current behavior of omicron, where it is recorded in Europe, it is assumed that it has spread very easily so far, but does not give severe symptoms like other previous variants," Dr. Aleksandar Mitov told the Morning Briefing.
"It is a chance to accelerate collective immunity and if that happens the pandemic will end on its own," said the doctor, adding that Macedonia would probably be one of the first countries in Europe to get rid of the disease because we have a large number of victims.
Dr. Mitov says that once this terror is put on the table, it means that scientists have seen some evidence that leads to the virus defeating itself.
