The machine staff is on strike again due to unpaid second part of the October salary. Director Adnan Azizi ordered the media not to enter the Macedonian Railways during the strike. The railway traffic has been suspended for five days already.

- The management should say about the problem with non-payment of salaries. It is ours to work, it is theirs to find the means to pay us a salary. Their explanation is that there is no money. Either we do not have a job or we have overstaffing. We know that we have made ours, says Dusko Cakarovski, President of the Independent Trade Union of Machinery Staff at the Railway - Transport.

He says that the economic work is up to the management and that it is a fact that there are damages. But the trains also stop at the border because the state has no locomotives. The mirror of the state is the railway, the trade unionist is decisive.

- A host should come here who will work properly, not party people. He will come to provide funds for work and locomotives, and we are here to work, he said.
