We live in a society of great mistrust, a society in which we do not respect each other and we are not yet mature enough to accept differences, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs said tonight Fatmir Bytyqi, commenting on the booing of the Macedonian language at the celebration on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of the signing of the Framework Agreement.

"I experienced the booing of the Macedonian language very hard. It shows us what kind of society we live in, a society of great mistrust, in which we do not respect each other and we are not yet mature enough to accept diversity. I am one of them and I will continue to fight for the concept of 'one society'", said Bitici in an appearance on Channel 5 television.

When asked about VMRO-DPMNE's request to hold early elections, he once again reiterated that in times of crisis, everyone should behave responsibly.

"Back in 2020, when I was given the opportunity to be deputy prime minister, I said that in a period of crisis, we should all behave sensibly. "I think that instead of calling for elections and a referendum, we should sit down together and see what the solutions are for getting out of the crisis", emphasized Bitici.
