VIDEO | Besimi: I don't understand how they connect me to the modular hospital
The accused former director of the Tetovo Clinical Hospital Florim Besimi whom the Basic Court Tetovo found him guilty because he caused danger to the lives of the patients and their relatives who were in the hospital at the critical moment, he said he did not understand today's verdict. I am not a signatory nor do I have any connection with the facility. He announced an appeal to the higher courts.
"I don't understand the verdict. It is not clear to me how they connect me with the modular hospital, from the evidence itself it can be seen that I am not a contractor, I was not supervised, nor did I receive it, which exists in the documents. I am not a signatory. I only know that I am accused of PP-apparatus – whether there was or not, that was said by the witnesses during the trial. It remains for me to oppose the verdict and seek the right in the higher judicial institutions," said Besimi.
Doctor Boban Vucevski, who received an acquittal from the accusation from the Public Prosecutor's Office that he allowed relatives to enter the hospital rooms, thanked for the support during the entire court process.
"A big thank you to all relatives and friends who were with me throughout the whole process and didn't let me stay alone. Thanks to the legal team that supported me and gave me the strength to be able to conduct this process properly. Thanks for the justice that came out, as a doctor I have been with you, and now I will be with you even more - pointed out Vucevski after the verdict.
And this afternoon, tattooers gathered in front of the Basic Court in support of Dr. Vucevski. They welcomed the acquittal.
"As a person, I recognized the injustice that was done to the doctor, but also to the others, I want to express my gratitude that I supported the doctor and the other defendants all the time. I want to express my gratitude to the tattoo artists who supported Dr. Boban with me. "Thanks to the judge who recognized that there is no crime, and to tell the Public Prosecutor not to initiate any appeal because it is evident that there is no crime," said Marin Najdov, a resident of Tetovo.
