The singer Marko Purisic, known by his stage name Baby Lasagna, won the Dora Festival and will represent Croatia at this year's Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Rome Team Tagi Dim".

"Thank you to everyone who voted for me. I've always been of the attitude: It's not over until it's really over. I didn't think about the potential victory at all, but I wanted to do my best," he said after the victory, after which he performed the winning song again.

The song "Rim Team Tagi Dim" received 247 points from the audience, while the second favorite of the audience Allen Gyuras got 27 points. Last year's Croatian representatives, the group "Flight 3", they competed again and got only 24 points.

Baby Lasagna was first according to the votes of the expert jury. Jury members from Zagreb, Split, Rijeka and Osijek voted, as well as four international juries from Italy, Germany, Ukraine and Iceland.

Interestingly, according to bookmakers, Croatia is among the top three countries as potential winners of this year's Eurovision Song Contest.
