Following the incursion of the assault formations of the anti-Kremlin armed organizations, the Russian Freedom Legion and the Russian Volunteer Corps, Russian authorities urgently initiated the evacuation of the Belgorod-22 nuclear munitions storage facility in the Belgorod region, which borders Ukraine.

This was stated by the spokesman of the Main Directorate for Intelligence Affairs of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense (GUR), Andriy Yusov, who stated that the Russians are also evacuating the Belgorod-22 facility - a storage facility for nuclear ammunition, which is located not far from the border with Ukraine

According to the GUR spokesman, "elements of panic" are visible among the Russian leadership due to the situation developing in the Belgorod region. According to him, the evacuation of the local population especially testifies to that.

The media previously published a video of the explosions that allegedly went off in the Russian region of Belgorod. Later there was information about the presence of Russian "volunteers" from Ukraine who were carrying out sabotage on Russian territory.

The responsibility for this attack was taken by the so-called Legion of Freedom for Russia, which through the Telegram social network called these attacks an appeal to Russians with the message that "the Legion is coming home."

It is a group that wants to topple the regime in Moscow and, they say, free the country from the rule of President Vladimir Putin. They claim to have crossed the border and occupied the settlement of Kozinka, and at the same time sent units to the town of Graivoron in the Belgorod region. The group reportedly captured four villages near Belgorod, and panic reigned in the city itself.

According to the spokesman of the Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov, the Russian president was informed about the alleged attempt to break through these subversive groups. He called the events in the Belgorod region sabotage in order to "distract attention from the Bakhmut region" and the great defeat suffered by Ukraine.

Peskov also said that the Russian forces are working to exterminate the "saboteurs".

These two armed formations are fighting on Ukraine's side in the war with Russia, but Ukraine has denied any connection with these Russian partisan fighters, saying they operate independently and are not under military control. Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the chief of staff of the Ukrainian president, said that Ukraine "has nothing to do" with the events in the Belgorod region.
