The black balance of the accident in Kocani is 59 young lives lost, as well as 155 people who were injured in the terrible fire that broke out on Sunday morning at the "Pulse" disco in this city, during a concert by the band DNA.

– In Macedonia, life has been reduced to living between two disasters, and this disaster is the result of the complete secrecy of the system. I thought that after the disaster in Tetovo when people were burning alive, that something would change in Macedonia, that nothing similar would happen in the future. However, just as we had two tragic plane crashes, two tragic bus crashes with many victims and injured, so for the third time a fire has occurred in a place with many people. We saw that the facility where the concert was held looked like a chicken coop, and the disco was operating with a forged license. However, I assume that parties were regularly held at that place, which were also attended by minors. This is a huge tragedy for Macedonia and I hope that lessons will finally be learned for the future – says Sloboden Pechat journalist Srđan Ivanović.
