Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski says that he is very optimistic after the meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron that Macedonia will succeed in unblocking the path to EU negotiations, although his interlocutor clearly stated after the meeting that France will support Macedonia on the European path, if our country respects them the undertaken international obligations.

- Mickoski's optimism after the meetings with the European representatives is confusing, when he says that he is optimistic, and they declare that Macedonia should respect the commitments undertaken. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the summit of the European Political Community, where our leader indicated that he had succeeded in presenting our arguments to the European allies. It is clear that our prime minister is trying to bring about constitutional changes with delayed effect, but all EU politicians insist that Macedonian citizens with Bulgarian self-awareness be immediately recognized in our Constitution. Macron unequivocally stated that Macedonia will have the support of France, if it first fulfills its obligations, and there is no room for optimism here - says the journalist of Sloboden Pechat, Srdjan Ivanovic.
