VIDEO | Analysis: Macedonian heart beat money, the old Qataris had no chance against the spirited Macedonians

The Macedonian handball team defeated Qatar at Arena Varaždin with a score of 39-33 in the second match of the main round of the Handball World Cup in Croatia.

"We played the way we were supposed to play - fast transition, easy goals and aggressive defense. From the very start, our handball players showed that they had to beat Qatar. This was a kind of seven-meter penalty for our handball players that we had to use because Qatar is the oldest national team in this World Cup. Although we don't do well with seven-meter penalties at this championship, we still gave the seven-meter penalty, that is, we won the match. We saw that the Qataris could not withstand this pace. The schedule was also on our side. First match with Austria and then a match with Qatar, and it was obvious that their national team players were totally exhausted. We also saw that their legs were heavy and they could not chase our fast players, and this time youth beat experience," says Sloboden Pechat journalist Stefan Krsteski.
