VIDEO | Analysis: A troubled boy shut down two schools
After the students from OU "11 Oktomvri" in Centar started boycotting classes due to an attempt to enroll a student with a history of violent behavior there, the same thing is happening this morning at OU "Lazo Angelovski" in Aerodrom, where the student originally studied.
- The case of the young student who was expelled from OU "Lazo Angelovski", and then was not allowed to enroll in OU "11 Oktomvri", due to his history of violence, is an indication of how much the institutions have failed to deal with this obvious problem. We reported on the specific case on several occasions and a lot of time has passed since then, and the institutions failed to put an end to the bullying that took place in the school. Peer violence is also present in other schools, and such cases with dramatically worsened student behavior are everywhere. Not all cases reach the media, so it is not known about it. The institutions have now failed again, instead of the boy being taken care of and dealt with, you now have a boycott of teaching in two schools. The parents of the other children are right, because if they allow the teaching to go on unhindered, then their children could be subject to verbal or physical violence. My opinion is that the case should have been resolved much earlier and such an escalation should not have been allowed - says the journalist of Sloboden Pechat, Srdjan Ivanovic.
