The wind exposed sabotage in the Prilep modular hospital: The power box was torn with a hammer
Sources from the management of the Prilep hospital told "Sloboden Pecat" that due to the strong wind that raged in the city yesterday and the storm, the security noticed that the door of the power supply box is open.
- That box is locked, but we have never noticed that it is not locked, ie that it has been broken. The door opened from the wind yesterday because it was unlocked and we did not know it was so. It may have happened yesterday but it may have happened before. Electricity is conducted from the substation that is in our hospital, to the box. The current is then conducted from the box to the modular hospital. We have not yet determined that there is damage to the cables or fuses. There is only an attempt to do something but it did not happen that there was no electricity supply in the modular hospital. From this box, all appliances are supplied with electricity. Currently 17 patients are hospitalized. Now this electrical panel is secured and additionally locked. Reinforced security is engaged and there is a police presence. If it were not for the storm yesterday, we would not have found out that it was broken. Sometimes by chance if something went wrong, so that the masters could go and see, only then would we find out. Now that he saw the guard, that is, the security, he became suspicious. He knows it's a locked box. Respirators, heart devices, monitors were connected through that electrical installation, a source from the leadership told "Free Press".
Earlier, the Ministry of Health informed that the General Hospital Prilep reported to the Ministry of Interior last night that the electricity board in the modular hospital was physically damaged.
- The hospital security noticed that the board on the outside was open with a hammer. The electrician from the hospital was informed and the police were called immediately. The electricity in the modular hospital is in operation because the external board does not supply electricity to the equipment in the hospital. Vandalism did not endanger the lives of patients. The Ministry of Health appeals to the competent institutions for clearing up the case as soon as possible, reported by the MOH.
