The Assembly today, at its 61st session, verified the mandates of the new MPs, Sanela Skrielj and Marija Kochovska. They come in the place of Slavjanka Petrovska, who is currently acting Minister of Defense, replacing Bisera Kostadinovska-Stojcevska, who is Minister of Culture.

A total of 90 MPs voted, of which 89 voted "for", one abstained and none against.

After the verification, the new MPs entered the assembly hall and participated in the work of the session. The mandates of the new MPs were confirmed yesterday by the State Election Commission (SEC) at its 43rd session.

At today's session, the MPs supported the Draft-Decision on amending the Decision on election of the Head, members and deputy members of the Delegation of the Assembly of the Republic of Northern Macedonia to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PA) and the Draft-Decision on amending the Decision on election of the President, Vice-Presidents, members and deputy members of the Delegation of the Assembly of the Republic of Northern Macedonia to the Parliamentary Committee for Stabilization and Association.

Then the President of the Assembly Talat Xhaferi adjourned the session, because the other items on the agenda were not discussed by the main parliamentary committees. The MPs will be additionally informed about the continuation of the session.
