Wenger has written Arsenal off from the Premier League title race

Legendary manager of the English football club Arsenal, Arsene Wenger, does not have much faith in the chances of the north London team to win the Premier League title this season.

Mikel Arteta's team is seven points behind leaders Liverpool, and the team has not become champion since 2004.

– There are 25 games played in the season and Liverpool have only lost once so far. They would need to lose at least three of their remaining 13 games before the end of the season. At the moment, that seems highly unlikely, unless they suffer a complete collapse.

"We have a super favourite and Arsenal have to have a perfect run, win every game to have a chance. I pray for that, but I need to improve the quality of my prayers," Wenger told beIN Sports.

Arne Slott's Premier League schedule includes matches against Aston Villa, Manchester City, Newcastle and Fulham, before visiting Arsenal in Round 36 on May 10, which is expected to be the "finale" of the season.
