The American singer Taylor Swift donated five million dollars to help those in Florida facing hurricanes, reports Page Six.
"We are incredibly grateful to Taylor Swift for her generous donation of $5 million to fight the aftermath of Hurricanes Helena and Milton. This contribution will help communities rebuild and recover by providing people with basic food, clean water and supplies. Together we can help families meet the challenges ahead. Taylor, thank you for being with us on this and thank you for helping communities," said the nonprofit organization Feeding America, which has a mission to end people facing hunger in the country.

Swift, who recently became the richest female musician in the world with a net worth of $1,6 billion, is scheduled to leave for South Florida next week to continue her Eras tour.
These are set to be her first concerts on the sold-out tour since taking a break after a long stint in Europe. For now, there are no announcements about postponing the performances in Miami, which are scheduled for next weekend, from October 18 to 20.
By the way, Florida is dear to the singer and she even has the song "Florida!!!" on the album "The Tortured Poets Department". Also, the singer once lived there.
Hurricane Milton is predicted to have devastating effects. Hurricane Helena has already caused extensive damage and claimed more than 230 lives, Page Six reports.
This isn't the first time Swift has helped out in a natural disaster. Last year, it helped in Tennessee, when the singer donated a million dollars to help victims after a devastating storm.
