Two residents of Veles were charged with fraud and falsification of documents, after posing as representatives of a foreign language school and selling blank CDs to a large number of people, which they falsely claimed contained language learning materials, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.

"The Department for Criminal Affairs Karposh at the SVR Skopje filed a criminal report against A.V. (30) and D.V. (36), both from Veles, due to the existence of reasonable suspicion of committed crimes of "fraud", punishable under Art. 247 and the crime of "special cases of falsification of documents" punishable under Art. 378 of the Criminal Code, according to the police.

"In coordination with the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office Skopje, police officers at the police station conducted an official interview with the accused, during which it was established that the two, presenting themselves in the name of a legal entity - a school for foreign languages ​​from Skopje, offered and sold materials through online sales ( CDs) for learning foreign languages ​​that were empty, i.e. without content, during which they damaged a large number of citizens, acquiring an illegal property benefit", added the Ministry of the Interior.
