Today, the hearing in the case where the uterus, ovary and kidney of the woman giving birth from Debar, Jaldz Veaposka, were removed during a cesarean section, was postponed to March 18 at the Struga Basic Court. The defendants are the gynecologist and then director of the Struga Hospital, Muhamed Asani, his son, Dr. Blairton Asani, and Dr. Liljana Jovanoska.

The super-expertise report, which was prepared after previous expert reports from the Institute of Forensic Medicine and expert Drage Dabeski proved to be contradictory, was not presented in the courtroom. However, the super-expertise report was prepared. Veaposka told Sloboden Pechat that her lawyer Sasho Janev received the report from the super-expertise report, and it stated that there were omissions and injuries and fault on the part of the doctors and the hospital.

Thanks to forensic medicine and the super-expertise, justice has come to light, that there was a medical error and they should be held accountable because lives are at stake here. I expect a prison sentence, not a suspended sentence, Veaposka told us.
