Crystal Palace defender Joachim Andersen played a great game yesterday and was one of the main contributors to his side's unbeaten 1-1 draw away to Liverpool, and today he revealed he received death threats after forcing a sending-off for Nunez.

The duel saw the red card of Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez, who head-butted Andersen after being provoked by the Palace defender.

Andersen took to social media today to reveal that he had received more than 400 messages, including death threats, over Nunez's red card.

– I got about 300,400 messages last night. I understand that you support your team, but it wouldn't hurt to show a little respect to others and stop pretending that you are dangerous on the Internet - Andersen wrote on his Instagram account.
