The former director of ESM, Vasko Kovachevski, was not arrested in the large police operation that has been carried out since this morning for the abuse of public procurement, and according to the information of "Sloboden Pechat", he has left the country since September.

According to our information, 19 natural persons are suspects, and apart from Kovacevski, there are three more people unavailable to the police, including Vasko Stefanov, who succeeded Kovacevski as director.

Apart from these natural persons, there are suspects and legal persons.

The Ministry of the Interior only confirms that a police operation is underway.

- A police action is underway in coordination with the Prosecutor's Office for the prosecution of organized crime and corruption. After the completion of the same, we will inform the public accordingly, says the Ministry of the Interior.
