Today, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski from the Government commented on the tensions in the municipality of Vrapcishte and stated that there will be similar incidents in the near future.

"These are isolated incidents, and there will be more like this. You have heard the statement of the Bishop, who distances himself from such incidents, the residents of the village of Galate also distance themselves, and what is interesting is that pictures of some people who are in the company of politically active characters appeared on social networks. If we take into account the political support in Vrapchiste, but also the police structure in SVR Gostivar, it is part of that folklore to sow ethnic intolerance, this type of incidents will occur, because we as the government cannot, considering the recent changes in the Law on Police, changes in management structures cannot occur. In the next 2-3 months, there will have to be an amendment to that Law, and there will be a change in those management structures, so that we can really have the situation under control. Do not doubt that criminal structures in the past will do such incidents in the near future. The residents of Galate themselves rejected this, the Bishop himself rejected all this, I appeal now that the country is going upward, that the citizens do not fall for such provocations," Mickoski said.
