More than 97 thousand citizens vaccinated, more than 250 thousand registered on "vakcinacija.mk"

The Ministry of Health informs that as of yesterday, 97.004 citizens were vaccinated throughout the country, and through the web platform "vakcinacija.mk" 256.346 citizens applied for vaccination.

- Vaccination is uninterrupted at all points throughout the country. The interest for vaccination is increasing every day, and so far the number of people who have expressed a desire for vaccination through the web platform vakcinacija.mk is 256.346 citizens, say the Ministry of Health.

They report that a total of 97.004 citizens were vaccinated at the vaccination points in the country as of yesterday.

- The first dose of vaccine was received by 12.487 citizens yesterday, and yesterday a total of 13.725 citizens were vaccinated. A total of 118.984 doses of vaccines were applied in the country, and 21.890 citizens were revaccinated. According to the latest figures, 32 percent of the population over the age of 70 have received at least one dose of the vaccine, the ministry said.

Vaccination is carried out in accordance with the National Immunization Plan. Adults, citizens who have expressed interest in vaccination on the website "vakcinacija.mk" are vaccinated and people employed in critical infrastructure are also vaccinated.

Mass vaccination takes place in several cities in the country, in A1 SC Boris Trajkovski in Skopje, in the sports halls in Kavadarci, Kumanovo, Tetovo, Stip, Bitola and Ohrid.

The Ministry of Health appeals to the citizens to register en masse on "vakcinacija.mk", because it is the easiest and fastest way to get vaccinated.
