At least ten children died when a boat capsized on Tanda Dam Lake in Pakistan, reports Sky News. Another nine are considered missing. Six people were rescued, and three are in critical condition.

Local police said there were 25 students from a religious school on board and they were on a picnic.

The children were between 11 and 13 years old.

The same boat had previously taken a group of 16 students across the lake.

"According to initial reports, the boat capsized due to overloading," police said.

Hours before this accident, a bus fell off a bridge in Pakistan, killing at least 40 people.
