Horror in Brazil: A policeman shot a Jiu Jitsu world champion in the head
Multiple Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World Champion Leandro Lo Pereira do Nascimento has been shot in the head in a nightclub in Sao Paulo.
He was shot by an off-duty police officer after the two had a verbal altercation. Leandro Law was pronounced dead immediately at a hospital in Sao Paulo after doctors failed.
The police immediately issued a warrant for the suspected officer, Enrique Ottavio Oliveira Veloso.
According to witnesses of the unfortunate event, the policeman approached the 33-year-old Lo, took the bottle that was on the table on which the world champion tried to hit him.

Law neutralized the attack and kept the officer on the floor. After the passions subsided, he let go of Officer Veloso who then drew his gun and shot the hapless Jiu Jitsu World Champion in the head.

The unfortunate Brazilian jiu jitsu master was rushed to the hospital, where the doctors declared him brain dead.
Léondro Lo has as many as eight world champion titles in five different weight categories, which is an absolute record in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
