Irregularities determined in a legal entity for growing cannabis for medical purposes from Kumanovo, a criminal report follows

The police, in cooperation with representatives of other competent institutions, today carried out a search and control in a subsidiary of a legal entity for the cultivation of cannabis for medical purposes in the village of Staro Nagoricane, and during the control, a large number of irregularities were found, for which a criminal report is also announced for the responsible persons. as well as for the legal entity itself.

"During the control, it was established that 19 cannabis plants are grown in outdoor conditions, although the subject does not have a license to grow in outdoor conditions, i.e. against the conditions prescribed by the Law on the Control of Narcotic Drugs, and 185 unregistered seeds were found in the safe room of the cannabis plant and 8 kilograms and 985 grams of cannabis plant mass. What was found was confiscated, and from the control carried out by the Commission for Approvals of Cultivation of Cannabis for Medical Purposes, it was ascertained that the legal entity grows cannabis for medicinal purposes in conditions contrary to those prescribed in the Law", informs today from the Ministry of the Interior.

The Public Prosecutor from PJSC Kumanovo was informed about the findings and after complete documentation of the material by SVR Kumanovo against all involved persons (responsible persons in the legal entity), as well as against the legal entity to PJSC Kumanovo, a criminal complaint will be filed for a crime committed under Article 95-C of the Law on Control of Narcotic Drugs.

The action was carried out by officers from the Bureau of Public Security - Department of Criminal Police, Department for Illicit Trafficking in Drugs, Weapons and Dangerous Substances, in coordination with the Commission for Approvals for Cultivation of Cannabis for Medical Purposes and police officers from SVR Kumanovo based on a previously provided Order for a search in a facility of a legal entity, issued by a judge of a preliminary procedure from the Kumanovo Court of First Instance, conducted a search and control in a subsidiary of a legal entity for the cultivation of cannabis for medical purposes in the village of Staro Nagoricane.
