The phased payment of January pensions starts tomorrow. Pensions will be paid in advance and in stages in order to provide greater protection to retirees in conditions of coronavirus danger. January pensions will increase by 2.9 percent, in accordance with the legal harmonization which is performed twice a year in January and July. The adjustment is made according to the percentage of the increase of the cost of living index in the previous half-year in relation to the previous half-year published by State Statistical Office.

As he said Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, the collection of pensions through the branches and branches of the banks for the pensioners who do not use cards will be realized in four groups, according to the amount of the pension.

For pensions with height up to 11 denars, payment should be made on January 26, 2022 (Wednesday), and for pensions with amount from 11 001 to 14 000 denars, the payment should be made on January 27, 2022 (Thursday).

Pensions in the amount of 14 001 to 18.000 denars to be paid on January 28, 2022 (Friday), and the payment of pensions in the amount over 18 001 denars should be performed on January 31, 2022 (Monday).

Retirees who use a payment card, linked to the account to which the pension is transferred, can use the money from January 26 (Wednesday). They can withdraw their pension at an ATM, use the means of payment in the trade network or for electronic payments.

The line ministry points out that the phased processing of pensions will enable the implementation of recommendations and measures to prevent and spread the virus, given that retirees as an age group are the most vulnerable.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Policy indicates that the pensions are safe on the accounts of the beneficiaries, the pension system is stable and works without problems. They appeal to the pensioners to adhere to the payment schedule because the stage payment is made in order to reduce the congestion in front of the banks and the possibilities for endangering the personal and public health.
