By tomorrow, it will be known which types of vegetables and fruits will have frozen prices, announced the Minister of Economy, Kreshnik Bekteshi, and the analyzes are ongoing. The Ministry of Agriculture submitted the input parameters for fruits and vegetables to the Ministry of Economy, and the data from the Customs Administration will also be taken into account.

- We will have all the data and on Friday or Sunday we will inform the public which fruits and vegetables will have their prices frozen - Bekteshi said on Wednesday.

The implementation of the government's decision to freeze the prices of some of the hygiene products, which will also become cheaper by 13 percent, should start from today. Earlier, by the decision of the Government, the prices of pasta and dairy products were frozen, which were reduced by 15, i.e. by 10 percent, as well as the prices of eggs and rice, which remained at the level of 15 this month, while the price of white and semi-white 450 grams of bread is frozen at 33 denars.

According to Minister Bekteshi, the price freeze is a measure that gives results and it is possible to extend it for certain products even after the established deadline, if it is judged that there is a need for it. He also announced that other such interventions are not excluded.

The minister is determined that there will be no sudden increase in the price of products when the government's decisions to freeze prices cease to be valid.
