The Administration for Hydro-Meteorological Affairs announced that the weather will be cold in the following days, and on Friday it will rain heavily in several parts of the country.

"Under the influence of a wet and cold air mass from the north, which is part of the high-altitude cyclone system west and southwest of Macedonia, the weather in the country will be cloudy and cold until the end of today (Thursday) and also tomorrow (Friday) . Occasional rains of variable intensity are expected, while in the mountains and in higher settlements, especially in the western and northern regions, the rains will turn into snowfalls, which will result in the formation of a new snow cover," said the HMRC. .

During this period of precipitation, a significant amount of water precipitation will fall locally, over 20 liters per square meter. Especially tomorrow (Friday), it is expected that strong wind will occasionally blow from the north direction, most pronounced along Povardarieto. In the Skopje region, the weather will be cloudy with occasional rain, which can sometimes be more abundant. In the surrounding mountains, rain will also change to snow. Tomorrow, the wind will be stronger, and the maximum temperature in Skopje will reach about 9 degrees. Temperatures in Macedonia will range from 4 to 10 degrees, forecasters predict.

During the weekend, the weather will stabilize with clearing and dry conditions, but the mornings will be significantly colder with frost. The temperatures in the morning hours will drop in the range from -6 to 3 degrees, and in Skopje the morning temperatures will reach about -2 degrees. The maximum daily temperatures during the weekend will rise in the range from 7 to 13 degrees, and in Skopje they it will be between 11 and 12 degrees.
