The Government of the Republic of Northern Macedonia at today's 76th session adopted the protocols proposed by the Commission for Infectious Diseases, which refer to the operation of swimming pools and beaches during a pandemic with KOVID-19.

According to the Protocol for the work of the beaches during a pandemic with KOVID-19, in addition to the mandatory observance of the basic preventive measures for wearing personal protective equipment, for a physical distance of 1,5 - 2 meters, frequent hand washing with soap and water, and regular cleaning and disinfection of the beach area, it is mandatory accurate and visible information of visitors with informative - educational material for visitors in terms of compliance with basic preventive measures and behavior, as well as by voice information to comply with the recommendations.

The recommendations include rules of conduct on the beaches that apply to all employees and visitors for personal protective equipment of the person covering the area of ​​the nose and mouth, accessible and visible places for hand sanitizers, physical distance of 1,5 - 2 meters, including when staying in the water, as well as limiting the number of visitors to the beach according to the square footage, ie a maximum of 15 visitors per 100 m² net area.

On the beaches it is mandatory to provide a minimum distance of 4 meters between the individual umbrellas, a distance of 1,5 - 2 meters between the sunbeds placed under adjacent umbrellas. The sunbeds must be disinfected before and after the use of each visitor, and each person must put a towel on the sunbed before using it.

Group sports (such as beach volleyball) are prohibited, and it is mandatory to identify persons who will control the number of visitors and the implementation of the measures.

The protocol for the work on the beaches during the pandemic with KOVID-19 also regulates the sanitary-hygienic measures, the recommendations for the employees, and for the use of catering services it is recommended to respect the Protocol for catering activity in conditions of pandemic with KOVID-19.

On the beaches it is not recommended to use wardrobes on the beach.

The protocol for operation of the pools during a pandemic with KOVID-19, in addition to the observance of the basic preventive measures for personal protection, determines how it is mandatory to mark a distance (waiting place) of 1,5 - 2 meters in front of the ticket offices. Provide a distance of 1,5 - 2 meters or a protective barrier between the employee and the visitor. To recommend and practice contactless payment with credit cards. Provide and recommend online ticket purchases.

Before the entrance of the pools it is obligatory to place a disinfectant (substrate) for disinfection of all visitors and to provide a means of hand disinfection by notifying the visitors for mandatory hand disinfection at the entrance and to place it in front of the entrance of all rooms in the building.

Regular informing of the visitors is mandatory, and the use of the changing rooms is allowed on the principle of one visitor in one changing room with the establishment of order and non-restraint by appointed persons from the security service. Frequently clean and disinfect changing rooms every 2 hours (if necessary and more often).

When entering the pool area, it is mandatory for every visitor to take a shower and go through a hyperchlorinated foot wash bar.

All employees and visitors to enter the pool must wear personal protective equipment of the person that includes any form of protection that covers the area of ​​the nose and mouth, as well as to maintain a physical distance of 1,5 - 2 meters, including in the pool leads.

The number of visitors to the facility is limited according to the square footage of the facility, maximum 15 visitors per 100 m² net area (including the pool area) or one swimmer per 7 m² in the pool, and it is mandatory to determine persons who will control the number of swimmers in the pool (in accordance with the above norm) and who will control the implementation of the measures.

The protocol determines the other sanitary-hygienic measures and recommendations for the employees who are obliged to keep records for each training, organized sports-recreational activity or free use of the pool by the citizens in order to facilitate epidemiological monitoring in case of KOVID infection. -19. For each visitor to provide information on the time and date of the visit / training, name and surname, contact telephone number, name of the coach / group / instructor, etc.

The use of catering services is not recommended at the pools, and for those within the hotel facilities it is recommended to respect the above recommendations, noting that the use of the pool should be allowed only for hotel guests.
