Face to face street vendors return to the streets (VIDEO)

About 30 vendors of the street magazine Face to Face stayed at home due to the danger of spreading the Covid 19. virus, which made it significantly more difficult for them to earn a living. However, with the easing of the restrictive measures and the abolition of the curfew, the sale of the magazine continues, informed today in the Skopje corner of the "Morning briefing" on "Slobodna TV", the sales coordinator, Emma Todorovska.

- We have made a work plan, in cooperation with the partner organizations on the street seal, which means providing protective equipment for the sellers. The sellers will also come out according to a pre-agreed schedule, for which the readers will be notified on the social networks. The locations where the magazine is most often sold are Debar maalo, in front of the Zoo, in the City Park, Leptokaria and Makedonija Street, informs Todorovska.

However, only the sellers who do not belong to the risk group of citizens returned to the street, the other sellers will sell the magazine online.

- The sellers of Face to Face who were the first to take to the streets after the crisis are young people from the Day Care Center for Street Children in Suto Orizari and do not belong to the risk category of citizens, and for those who are not allowed to sell on the street, we created an online store with code to each seller, and buyers when ordering will be able to enter the code so that the seller will receive half of the amount, says Todorovska.

The seller of the magazine, Kristijan Markovski says that he is satisfied with the sale but complains about the caterers.

- I do not have a problem with sales, I only care when they chase us from restaurants and cafes. "I have a lot of people who recognize me and buy the magazine," says Christian.
