Several radiation sensors have been damaged today following a new Russian bombardment of the area near the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, Ukrainian operator Energoatom said.

"The situation is getting worse, radioactive substances are nearby, and several radiation sensors have been damaged," wrote Energoatom on Telegram.

Tonight, the UN Security Council will hold an emergency meeting to discuss the situation at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant in Ukraine, as Kyiv and Moscow accuse each other of bombing the site.
