The Ukrainians claim to have shot down 26 of 38 Russian drones

Russia attacked Ukraine last night with 38 Shahed drones, the Ukrainian Air Force announced today, stating that 26 drones were shot down.

"38 Shahed drones are recorded to have been dispatched," the Air Force Daily reported on Telegram.

The statement added that 26 Iranian-made drones were destroyed.

The Odesa region is among the areas that were targeted by Russian forces last night, and the port of Izmail was especially targeted. The attack lasted two hours, regional governor Oleg Kiper wrote on Telegram, adding that most of the drones were shot down.

"Unfortunately, the port infrastructure was affected in the Izmail district," he said, adding that two truck drivers were wounded. According to him, the checkpoint, warehouses and 30 trucks were damaged.
