The Ukrainians claim that the Russians launched a new attack near Kherson in which at least one person is dead
At least one person died and six people, including two children, were injured in last night's Russian shelling of the Kherson area in southern Ukraine.
The governor of the Kherson region, Oleksandr Prokudin, announced on Telegram that in the past 24 hours, Russian forces have carried out 71 attacks targeting populated areas, shops and medical infrastructure.
Prokudin stated that the target of 20 of the air and ground attacks was the administrative center of the region - the city of Kherson.
Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform reported that the two injured children are sisters aged 13 and 12, as well as their mother.
