Ukrainians got angry: Hungary published a map of Ukraine without Crimea
Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs rebuked the Hungarian government over a video released on May 30 showing Ukraine without Crimea, it said. "Kyiv Independent". The video calls for an end to the war in Ukraine while showing an explosion over a map of Ukraine missing Crimea.
By the way, Hungary did not recognize the Russian annexation of Crimea in 2014.
"The identification of the Crimean peninsula as a territory that is not part of Ukraine is contrary to Budapest's position to support the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders," the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
The ministry urged Budapest to stop confirming Russian positions and to adhere to Hungary's international obligations as a member of the UN, NATO and the EU.
