The Ukrainians blew up a railway in Russia's Belgorod region
Ukrainian intelligence and special forces blew up a railway line in Russia's Belgorod region, derailing a freight train, Babel reported, citing a military intelligence source.
A day earlier, Russian authorities claimed that the locomotive and 11 carriages of the freight train derailed on the Novi Oskol-Volokonovka section. The Russian Investigative Committee characterized the incident as a "terrorist attack" and opened criminal proceedings.
"The section of the Stary Oskol-Valuyki railway has been paralyzed," reports Kyiv Independent, which contacted the Ukrainian Military Intelligence Service (HUR), but did not receive a response about this operation.
"The train derailed due to an explosion," the Russian channel on the Telegram social platform, known as Base, wrote on September 11.
