"You can't talk about Ukraine without Ukraine"
European leaders want a seat at the table in peace talks over Ukraine after US President Donald Trump spoke directly with Russian President Vladimir Putin and ordered top US officials to begin talks to end the war in Ukraine.
"You cannot talk about Ukraine without Ukraine, nor about Europe without Europe," Sibiha said.
Sibiha said that Ukrainian membership in NATO is the cheapest way for the transatlantic alliance to guarantee Ukrainian security and that there should be no compromises that would harm Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty.

"We want a comprehensive agreement"
"We want a comprehensive agreement. It is in the interest of the United States. With Trump's leadership, with strong European commitment and European unity, we have the opportunity to give a new momentum to this process. But as far as I know, our American allies have not yet finalized their plans," he added.
"All our allies have said that Ukraine's path to NATO is irreversible. That possibility is in our constitution. It is in our strategic interest," Sibiha said.
