Ukraine announced that three people were killed in Donetsk by Russian artillery
At least three people were killed in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kostiantynivka as a result of Russian artillery fire, the Ukrainian regional military administration said.
As reported by DPA, the dead are men between the ages of 24 and 69. The administration reiterated its call for residents to evacuate the city, which is located in the Donetsk region, north of the Russian-occupied city of Donetsk.
In the artillery attack this morning, an apartment block, an administrative building, shops, cars and power cables were hit, the authorities said.
Kostiantynivka is considered strategically important and is under constant Russian attacks.
The Russian Defense Ministry in Moscow reported that Russian forces had captured the village of Kalinove, without providing further information. There are several villages with this name in the region, and there is no confirmation from the Ukrainian side for now.
