Ukraine intercepted a Russian Lancet drone over the Kursk region

A Ukrainian drone successfully intercepted and destroyed a Russian ZALA Lancet drone over the city of Suja in Kursk.

The Lancet drone, designed to strike ground equipment and critical targets behind enemy lines, has been increasingly deployed by Russian forces throughout the war in Ukraine.

However, Ukrainian air defense units have adapted to these threats by deploying a large number of drones, a mobile and cost-effective countermeasure.

Ukrainian forces are increasingly relying on advanced drone technologies to counter Russian drones, which in turn have proven to be a practical solution to intercepting a wide range of aerial threats.

They allow operators to manually fly the interceptor drone with high precision, offering a new layer of defense against hostile unmanned systems.
