The post office in Ukraine plans to issue a special soon a stamp to mark the success achieved on Eurovision song contest.

The Ukrainian group Kalush Orchestra won the competition convincingly thanks to the unprecedented turnout of TV viewers from all over Europe, who voted for Ukraine.

Namely, the design of the postage stamp will be decided by the art board, wrote on Facebook the head of the Ukrainian post office Igor Smeljanski, adding that he hopes that everything will go at an accelerated pace.

The success of the last two Ukrainian Eurovision winners, singers Ruslana and Jamala, was also marked by the issuance of commemorative stamps. Recently, the Ukrainian Post Office issued a stamp dedicated to Ukrainian soldiers on the Black Sea Snake Island who refused to surrender to the crew of a Russian warship.

Smeljanski published a sketch for the new postage stamp that should read "Help Mariupol - Help Azovstal" - words of the group's frontman, Oleg Psyuk after announcing the winner on Saturday night on stage in Turin.

The singer also said that the band intends to sell its Eurovision trophy at auction and donate the proceeds of the sale to Ukraine and the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Ukrainian authorities have promised that the country will host next year's competition, regardless of the war.

At the moment Ukraine can not realize such an event due to the state of emergency. The night curfew is in force, and the armed conflict with Russia, unfortunately, has no end…
