Germany, Denmark and the Netherlands announced today that they will deliver to Ukraine at least 100 overhauled "Leopard 1" battle tanks, Beta reported.

The three countries' defense ministers said in a joint statement that the delivery of older Leopard 1 tanks was part of efforts to "support Ukraine in its efforts to counter Russian aggression."

- It will significantly increase the military potential of Ukraine for the restoration of the disturbed territorial integrity, said the ministers of the three NATO members.

They add that the tanks will be delivered "in the coming months" and that the delivery will be accompanied by logistical support and training.
