UEFA denies the ultimatum for the Danes
The European Football Association has dismissed reports that the Danes were under pressure to resume the match against Finland after Christian Eriksen collapsed on the pitch.
UEFA claims that it "treated the issue with full respect for the sensitive situation and the players".
Christian Eriksen on Saturday, in the first match for Denmark at Euro 2020 in the finish of the first part, collapsed on the field after which the medical team of the Danish national team resuscitated him with a defibrillator for 20 minutes.
At that moment, UEFA announced that the match was suspended and then stated that it would continue after a break of 90 minutes at the request of the players of both national teams.
However, the former goalkeeper of the Danish national team and father of Casper Schmeichel, told the British media that the Danes did not want to continue the match, but also that they had no choice because one of the three possibilities was to lose with an official 3-0.
