A student at the Secondary Medical School in the Sarajevo neighborhood of Bjelava brought a gun to class today, after which the principal called the police, local media reports.

The police confiscated the student's gun, and her mother was called in for an interview.

"The principal of the school informed the police department that their student brought a gas pistol without ammunition to class and was showing it," the police said, adding that the girl, whose age was not disclosed, was showing the gun to other students, and this was confirmed by the police. who came to the call.

The school has not yet officially announced the incident.
