
Two people arrested for playing music in bars during the seven-day mourning period
Yesterday and today, Skopje police arrested two people, aged 26 and 22, who were responsible for operating two catering establishments in Skopje's Center where loud music was played during the seven-day mourning period.

In Skopje, on 21/22.03.2025, police officers from the SVR Skopje deprived of their liberty F.A. (26) from Skopje and V.V. (22) from Skopje, due to reasonable suspicion that they committed a crime under Article 387 of the Criminal Code. They, as responsible persons in catering facilities in Centar, played music during the seven-day mourning period declared by the Government - the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.
They say that after documenting the cases, appropriate criminal charges will be filed against them.
The government declared seven days of mourning last week, following the fire at the Pulse disco in Kocani, which killed 59 people and injured over 150.
