Ljupco Palevski - Palco was arrested
Ljupco Palevski-Palco, who is suspected of kidnapping and carrying out the murder of Vanja Gjorchevska and Panche Zhezhovski, has been arrested. He was detained at the border, after the issued international warrant. For now, there is no official confirmation, the Ministry of Interior is waiting to announce details at the press conference scheduled for 22:30 p.m.
The prime suspect in the murder of 14-year-old Vanja Gjorchevska escaped from Macedonia, via Serbia, then headed to Turkey through Bulgaria, the OJO previously informed.
According to the information of the Public Prosecutor's Office, Ljupco Palevski-Palco was registered at the Kalotina border crossing between Serbia and Bulgaria on Saturday, December 2, after which he headed to Turkey at the Kapitan Andreevo crossing - a trajectory lasting about 3 hours and 40 minutes with a car.
This happened on the day when the Minister of Internal Affairs, Oliver Spasovski, announced that the previous evening, five people were detained in connection with the disappearance of 14-year-old Vanja, and a vehicle was also secured.
On December 2, Palevski was traveling in a "Land Rover" vehicle, which was driven by the person who was detained today on suspicion of aiding and abetting. The prosecutor's office requests a 48-hour detention for the driver.
